As a result, dry conditions, warm temperatures, and locally gusty onshore wind will prevail over the next several days. Strongest winds are forecast in the vicinity of the Delta and over higher terrain. The combination of dry conditions and gusty winds may lead to locally elevated fire weather concerns over the weekend. Additionally, with the slight warming over the weekend, there will be localized to areas of Moderate HeatRisk Saturday through Monday.

Sardine Campground is open. Jackson Creek Campground, Canyon Creek Campground and several forest roads have also been closed due to hazard trees. The order is in place for public safety until the Forest Service can evaluate and mitigate hazards.
