Here are the overnight forecast updates:
- Light showers early this morning are expected to gradually dissipate the rest of the morning with only a slight chance (10-15%) for isolated mountain showers in the afternoon
- As more seasonable temperatures and drier weather arrives at lower elevations on Saturday, a slight chance of isolated showers/thunderstorms will remain possible along the Sierra crest in the afternoon and early evening
- More widespread warm and dry weather then looks on track starting on Sunday, with Moderate HeatRisk returning to the Valley from Monday onward

Upon arrival, crews found approximately a half-acre fire moving uphill, with local residents already working to slow the spread. Firefighters established a hose lay around the fire to contain it, and crews spent several hours mopping up hot spots to ensure full extinguishment. Ophir Hill Fire and CAL FIRE also responded and assisted on the incident.
