November 26, 2020 at 9:05 AM Breezy Thanksgiving; Dry Weekend. Breezy north to east winds will increase through Thanksgiving Day, becoming gusty at times. Additionally, relative humidity values will fall during the afternoon hours. This will lead to elevated fire weather concerns for locations that have remained mostly dry over the past several weeks, mainly along the far western side of the Sacramento Valley. Breezy winds will linger tonight and into early Friday for the foothills and mountains. The weekend will remain dry with mild afternoons and cool nights. A storm system will clip far northern California on Monday and bring a very slight chance of light precipitation to portions of the area. Most communities are expected to remain dry. Another episode of offshore winds will be possible by the middle part of next week. As mostly dry conditions are forecast to prevail, fire weather may once again become a concern by early December for portions of northern California.
